Two unforgettable nights at Sri panwa - Phuket
My recent stay at Sri Panwa was some of the most luxurious, relaxing days I have ever had. Located on the south Peninsula of Phuket, this luxury hotel private pool villa & spa resort is one of the dreamiest locations to spend your time whilst in Thailand. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by smiling, helpful and polite staff, who instantly made us feel like VIP. Upon arrival were taken by buggy to Baba Poolclub for some lunch before checking into our room. Walking into the restaurant/bar we were instantly blown away by the setting and surroundings we had just stepped into. This place has a super chilled out, relaxing vibe, where you can lounge out in the shade, by the pool or in your own little booth overlooking the ocean below and distant islands surrounding Phuket. The food was so fresh and tasty, leaving us satisfied until dinner.
Checking into our room was our favourite part! Opening the door we were greeted with a large living space overlooking our very own, ocean view, infinity pool. We were lucky enough to stay in the Penthouse Suite that had high stunning views of the ocean and afternoon sunset. It was a seriously romantic sweet room, we never wanted to leave! Afternoons were spent laying back in a cool bath to sooth our sunkissed skin - followed by sinking into our king sized bed for some of the best sleeps we have both had in months.
Our penthouse suite was located in The Habita, and overlooked the extraordinarily large two storey infinity pool from our bedroom. This pool has endless comfy lounges, day beds and bean bags surrounding it never leaving you out of comfort. You could easily spend a whole day lazing about here, ordering cocktails and food poolside. This is where we spent most our time sun baking.
I must talk about the breakfast! We decided to sit front seat, ocean view to enjoy our very large & abundant breakfast spread our first morning. We may have gone a little overboard first day, but I could not decide between eggs, banana pancakes, waffles, French toast, fruit salad, bircher muesli, or everyyything else that they provided! Not to mention the number of fresh juices they have to try. It was bliss, and I would do it all over again, even if I get a few extra tummy roles.
Our second day here we decided to hire a kayak (offered complimentary to all hotel guests) and paddle to a small island we could see in the far distance. This was a lot of fun! It took us about an hour to paddle there where we spent another hour taking advantage of the private beach we had all to ourselves. Paradise! That afternoon we visited the Baba Nestfor some sunset drinks and food. When entering this exclusive rooftop bar, perched 60 metres above sea level, we both couldn't wipe the smiles of our faces. As the sun set we perched ourselves on one of the bean bag chairs and ordered ourselves some cold coronas and nachos. Service was wonderful, as always, where the waiters are always so attentive to any of your needs. It was such a wonderful way to spend our last night, we couldn't have felt more relaxed. Thank you Sri Panwa for an unforgettable stay and thank you to all the staff who are always going above and beyond for their hotel guests. We loved every second!
